Kirstyn’s Krew will be having their 1st Annual Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament on Sunday, November 3, 2019. We know that we will have several teams of high school students, but want to encourage parents and coaches to get teams together as well. We will be playing for fun all the while raising money to give a child in foster care their own shopping spree during the Christmas Holidays!
Format will be determined by number of teams. Brackets will be posted a couple of days before the tournament. Teams must have a minimum of 6 players. Each team must have at least 2 boys and 2 girls on the court. Please send your rosters to kirstynskrew@gmail.com and include your team name, team captain name and contact info. Payment can be made through Venmo (@kirstynskrew - Picture is a K with a Santa Hat); Paypal using friends and family; check or cash. If paying by Venmo or Paypal, please include player’s name and team name on the payment.
Since this is a fundraiser, entry fee is $20 per person and there will be “$5 Mulligans” for sale. Yes, a mulligan in volleyball!! Example of what a mulligan might be:
Sit a player out on the opposite team for 5 points (they play with only 5);
Receive an Extra Serve;
Serve from anywhere on the court;
Switch out Server;
Redo a play.
There will also be a small concession and a donation box to add some extra love for the kiddos!
Winning team will win a “small special award” and will be invited to join us at one of our shopping events! Second place will receive a “small award” as well.
